[ It's a little surprising, seeing such a bold statement in defense of her. Maybe it's that she's kept some part of herself at a distance from everyone, even her closest friends, for so much of her life, that such an honest comment touches her.

Not to mention, the way she and Jinu had met was so full of complications when they started out on opposite sides, that even now she has no idea what anyone from home might think if she told them.

But she feels a rush of gratitude for Wanda, so glad that she'd reached out. ]
